One of our destination’s most popular attractions is our vast and interconnected network of trails through the forest. Our trails take you through beautiful contrasting landscapes and have different difficulty levels. One of our most popular trails is the Pacific Crest Trail, which spans from the Mexican border to Canada. It is traversed annually by hundreds of hikers that make this pilgrimage through this transcontinental route.
Our outfitters are here to provide you with information about our trails, trail etiquette and safety. We rent out backpacking equipment and sell hiker supplies at our shop. If you’re officially hiking the PCT, stop by the tea station at our shop and help yourself. We have a variety of tea options, chai, and coffee for our PCTer’s coming through this area.
We sell alkaline water at our shop to keep you hydrated and can recommend some of our favorite trails in the area for you to explore. We have full size topographical maps at our center and our outfitters are eager to help you plan your route. If you’re new to the area or hiking in the wilderness in general, check in with one of our outfitters. We also rent out hiking sticks and sell trail snacks and accessories. We offer parking at our center and a large picnic area with a propane fire place. It’s an ideal gathering place, if you’re looking for a place to unwind and spend an afternoon. We have a kids play area and tree tent complex, as well as hammocks to lounge on after your hike.
